The Postpartum Journey program is specifically designed for women starting from 5 weeks after birth, who have received their doctor’s approval and are eager to regain their strength and fitness to be the best moms.

This program was crucial to my recovery and return to fitness after having my babies. Every workout is authentic and was filmed while I was recovering from the birth of my baby boy, showcasing my real postpartum journey. I will be with you every step of the way.

If you’re already on your postpartum recovery journey, don’t worry! The program includes three phases, allowing you to start at the right level based on your postpartum timeline, activity level, and doctor’s clearance.

The Postpartum journey program is divided into three distinct 6-week phases, each designed to support your gentle recovery, gradual progression, and rebuilding of strength at your own pace.

Phase 1 – Recover: After your 5-week check-up and receiving clearance from your doctor, you’ll begin a workout regimen focused on healing and recovery, featuring gentle strength, mobility, and stability exercises.

Phase 2 – Progress: As you’re ready for more, we’ll gradually increase the intensity, incorporating light weights into full-body, low-impact strength workouts.

Phase 3 – Rebuild: With your body growing stronger, we’ll ramp up the pace with low-impact HIIT-style cardio and a broader range of strength exercises to further enhance your fitness.

 

The recommended minimum time frames after giving birth for starting each phase of the program are:

Phase 1: 5 weeks (only after your check-up and doctor’s clearance)

Phase 2: 12-16 weeks

Phase 3: 18-22 weeks

While the program is designed to span 18 weeks, there’s no rush to complete it within this timeframe. You can repeat phrases until you feel ready and confident to progress. To assist you, we’ll provide a checklist to help determine when you’re prepared to move on to the next phase.

 

For Phase 1, you’ll need basic items such as a Pilates ball, yoga block, and yoga mat. You can also use household items like a chair, pillows, and a towel. As you advance through the program, additional equipment such as dumbbells, a kettlebell, a low step, and a booty band will be required.

 

The postpartum journey focuses on:

– Regaining strength and mobility

– Breathing exercises for Diastasis-Recti Abdominis

– Gradually increasing cardio endurance

– Rebuilding pelvic floor and core/abdominal strength

– Preparing for Phase 2 programs, regular workouts, and your favorite sporting activities

Please note, this is not a weight loss program. The emphasis is on recovery and building a strong foundation.

Most individuals are cleared for exercise 6-8 weeks after a C-section by their obstetrician, provided there are no complications. Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program.
